Sweetheart Chocolate Lollipops If you need a sweet way to show someone how much you love them, then give them one of these delicious lollipops that are sure to make a warm statement! |
| 4 | squares Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate |
| 3/4 | cup butter (1½ sticks) |
| 2 | cups sugar |
| 3 | eggs |
| 1 | tsp vanilla |
| 2 | cups flour |
| 4 | squares Baker's White Chocolate, melted |
| Assorted Valentine sprinkles | |
| Lollipop sticks |
| 1. | Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). |
| 2. | Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on high for 2 minutes or |
| until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. | |
| 3. | Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, and mix well. |
| 4. | Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or until dough is stiff. |
| 5. | Shape dough into 2-inch balls. Insert lollipop stick into each ball, and place lollipops 2 |
| inches apart on greased baking sheets. | |
| 6. | Bake for 8 minutes or just until set (do not overbake!). Let stand on baking sheet for |
| 1 minute. Transfer to wire racks -letting cool completely. | |
| 7. | Drizzle with chocolate and decorate with sprinkles. Let stand until chocolate is firm. |
| 1. | Coarsely chop chocolate squares; place in microwaveable bowl. |
| 2. | Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) for 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted. |
| 3. | Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Dip fork into chocolate, then use to drizzle |
| chocolate over lollipops. |
