Broccoli and Cheese Salad

is both delicious and healthy!
Recipe makes 6 servings.

INGREDIENTS:

cups fresh chopped broccoli (approx 1 bunch)

½
|
cup finely chopped purple onion
|

|
ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained
|
1
|
cup grated cheddar cheese made with 2% fat milk
|
¼
|
lb bacon, cooked crisp, drained on paper towels and crumbled
|
¼
|
cup sugar
|

tbsp cider vinegar
|
½
|
cup light mayonnaise
|
DIRECTIONS:

Combine sugar, vinegar, and mayonnaise in a serving bowl.

Add broccoli, onion, water, chestnuts, cheese, and bacon. Stir until well mixed.

Each serving contains approximately 202 calories and 12 grams of fat.
